Penelope Cruz In A New PETA Anti-Fur Ad

The gorgeous Penelope Cruz is in a new PETA anti-fur ad!

In the new ad, she asks people to:

"Give fur the cold shoulder."

Even though Penelope is a huge fashionista, she would never EVER wear fur.

She knows about the horribly cruel deaths that animals receive at the hands of fur farmers so when her and her sister designed a fur-free fashion line, they worked with fur-free Spanish retailer Mango.

Way to be cruelty free!

Penelope Cruz was seen in Rome, Italy.

She was on the set of her new movie Venuto al Mondo.

Looks like she's taking a break, hanging out with some fuzzy puppies.

Seems like a great way to spend your free time.

If puppies are in the movie, we're sure it'll be ah-may-zing.

Penelope Was Once A Lonely Cat Lady

When Penélope Cruz first moved to Los Angeles, she spoke little English and lived in a tiny hotel room she shared only with cats. Cats, plural.

“I was very lonely,” she says. “I would find cats in the street and take them with me. I raised a lot of cats in that period.”

Penélope admitted in a recent interview with Vouge.

Today the Oscar winner's home—whether in Los Angeles, New York, or Madrid—is shared with her new husband, the acclaimed Spanish actor, fellow Oscar winner, and occasional on-screen lover Javier Bardem.

As for the cats, Pene says they all found nice homes.

Javi & Pene's Bro Take The Pooch For A Walk

Javier Bardem soaked up the sun on Monday by going on a walk with his dog and brother-in-law Eduardo Cruz.

The future poppa strolled along the Venice boardwalk while wife Penelope Cruz stay at home since she's about to pop any day now.
