Looks like Pamela Anderson can balance business with compassion!

The actress flew across the Pacific to India on behalf of PETA.

While at a construction site in Mumbai, Pam found Pyari, a stray pooch, wandering around and she HAD to have the pup!

Bob Barker And Pamela Anderson Unveil PETA's Stamps

Bob Barker and Pamela Anderson were in Hollywood at a press conference for PETA.

They were unveiling PETA's vegetarian celebrity stamps.

As we previously mentioned, the stamps are arriving just in time to be put on holiday cards, in an attempt to spread the vegetarian message.

PETA Releasing Vegetarian Star Stamps

20 of the most famous vegetarians of all-time will be appearing on stamps made by PETA.

They're hoping that this holiday season, during the holiday card sending frenzy, people will use the stamps and help spread awareness.

Celebs such as Paul McCartney, Ellen DeGeneres, Pamela Anderson and more will be on the stamps.

Pamela Anderson Joins The Call To Ban Carriage Horses

After the collapse of TWO New York City carriage horses in the past two weeks, Pamela Anderson has joined the call for a ban on horse-drawn carriages.

She's joining other celebs, like Lea Michele, in joining a petition to replace the horse-drawn carriages with eco-friendly classic cars.

She wrote on her Facebook page:

"For the second time in less than two weeks, a carriage horse has collapsed on a Manhattan street. Horses do not belong in a congested, urban setting where they are constantly breathing exhaust and sharing the streets with cars, buses and taxis."

She urged all her fans to sign the petition so that these poor horses can be rescued from the streets.

Let's hope that New York's Mayor Bloomberg decides to take action before any more harm comes to those overworked animals.

PETA's Petition Goes To The White House

Thanks to all your help, and a little lot of help from some celebs, PETA’s spay-and-neuter petition has reached the required 5,000 signatures!

As we previously mentioned, the petition was to make it mandatory that all pets, wheter from a shelter or pet store or anywhere, must be spayed or neutered.

This is to help curb the 6 to 8 million homeless animal population.

So now that the petition has the right amount of signatures, it will go before the Obama adminisitration for consideration.
