Carrie Underwood To The Rescue! Saves Injured Dog From Highway

We love you, gurl!

Carrie Underwood saw two injured dogs on the highway and pulled over to help them.

Unfortunately, one of the dogs had died but one was still clinging on the life.

Underwood writes she guessed the dogs were tossed out of a car on the highway.

Who would do such a thing?!

Carrie named the surviving dog Stella and took her to Carrie's emergency vet to be groomed and cared for.

She also helped Stella find a new home but she admitted she got attached to the Lab.

She writes:

I cried when she walked out the door. [Husband Mike Fisher] told me not to be a crazy ex-girlfriend about it and stalk them … I can't help it! She deserves the best life ever!

We are so proud of Carrie's kindness and we're disgusted at whoever abandoned the poor dogs.

We hope Stella is happy in her new home!

Amongst All The Fame, Carrie Underwood Finds Happiness In Her Dog

She's a bona fide super star. She's internationally known and she's on the road touring most of the year. Yet how does Carrie Underwood stay happy during all this?

Through her dog Ace of course!

The four year old rat terrier, Ace, is as much a part of her life as anyone else, "Ace is famous, he's a blessing, he's part of me."

He even made an appearance in her July wedding, donning a pink tux and barking when the singer kissed her groom, hockey player Mike Fischer.

"I don't know if he thinks people are hurting each other or what," she said. "He doesn't like clapping, either."

He just loves you! He's jealous!

"Your family, your job, whatever it is … at some point you're going to be frustrated, you're going to be mad, you're going to be … losing it. Ace just makes me happy every single second of every single day."

It's nice to see that her dog can help keep her grounded amongst all the hustle and bustle of being famous.

We love our furry family members!
