Cindy Barshop From Real Housewives Of NYC Angers PETA With Real Fur Merkin

Cindy Barshop, from The Real Housewives of New York City, owns the Completely Bare salon.

The salon now offers two new spa items: The Foxy Bikini ($225) and The Carnivale Bikini ($195).

And they're not actual bikinis.

They're merkins. Pubic wigs.

Barshop said:

"People are loving the concept, it is so over the top. Feathers and colorful fur were shown on a lot of the runway shows and I thought, let's bring back the merkin incorporating these hot trends and allow ladies to wear something fabulous down there."

While these were created to make women feel more sexy, the Foxy Bikini is made out of real fox fur, which has PETA clearly upset.

PETA's president Ingrid Newkirk said:

"It's outright sleazy, and it's downright cruel to kill an animal to decorate your privates."

Not only is a merkin pointless and weird, using real fox fur is just cruel.
