PETA On Pets As Holiday Gifts

We've said it before and we'll say it again, and PETA will say it too in the above video…

If you're thinking about giving someone a pet as a gift, DON'T DO IT!

Unless of course they want one and are emotionally and finically ready for the 10-20 year commitment of owning a pet.

Or you're getting it for your kids and you plan on taking care of it because you are emotionally and financially ready.

If you are 100% ready for a pet, make sure you adopt a shelter dog!

What could be a better gift than taking a pet out of a shelter (and off of death row) and bringing them into your warm home to lay down and take a well deserved, peaceful nap underneath the christmas tree.
