Elle Fanning, star of Super 8 (and Dakota Fanning’s sister), was spotted in Santa Monica, checking out stores with a friend on Montana Avenue.

One of their stops was to look at rescued cats that were up for adoption. Her and her friend were asking an attendant questions about the cats.

When thinking about getting a pet, we'd agree, rescue is the way to go!
